This store is nice enough when it’s open but several times I’ve come here and there’s been a sign on the door saying that it’s closed despite it being the middle of their normal hours. It’s very irritating to drive 20 minutes for no reason and this seems to be a reoccurring problem for this store so don’t come here expecting for it to be open.

Friendly staff but the store is small and pretty disorganized. Parking seems to be a bit difficult even though they have a parking lot. Their parking lot has only a few spots.
I was looking for a birthday decoration for a 40th theme. Couldn't find anything. The price seems to be reasonable. My niece bought 3/4 of a yard of fabric and wood sticks for her school project and it was about $8 for two items.

Great crafts store to have in Ballard! They have a wide selection of sewing, crafts, and home decor at reasonable prices - which are normally "on sale". The store isn't the most modern, but the selection and prices largely make up for this. However, this store can be unprofessional with two examples coming to mind:
1. The clerk was on her phone filling out her time-off form meanwhile we were paying for our things
2. A different clerk said "G*d d**n" in front of me as she was trying to get the register to work overall
Great store overall, but the staff could be trained better.

Love Joann's! They sell everything from paint to baking supplies to yarn and have excellent service. Sadly though, the Ballard location recently seems to be low on business. Please help support our local Joann's!

ok. way overpriced shop o.o.c. this city and King co have everything taxed to death here. 20 dollars tax on 200 dollar purchase to shop in crime neighborhoods and deal with the insanity. low stock. nice people.

Unfortunately I find myself needing to go here pretty often as it’s one of the only larger craft/sewing stores in the area. Hardly anyone works in the store, nobody answers the phones when you call and the staff are generally not that helpful, friendly or interested in general customer service acts
